Can the Danceforms choregraphy software be used to make animations that can be imported into SL?

Never mind - apparently this is what happens with linked objects when the overall object is Locked - Not that obvious (at least to me)

So I was experimenting with some prim torture, to make it as small as possible, when I lost sight of the now-very-tiny prim. I tried making it transparent and a light source to be easier to find until it was finished, but I still couldn't get it to show up in the camera. Are there some tricks to manipulating tiny prims without losing track of them I am missing? How do you work with them?
