Adobe has released a beta of the upcoming Photoshop CS3 which is available for download from Photoshop Labs. You will however need a valid serial number of Photoshop CS2, Adobe Creative Suite 2, Adobe Production Studio, Adobe Video Bundle or Adobe Web Bundle.

Animation priority decimal places?

Saturday, December 9th, 2006
I don't know if it's a bug, but it seems I can plug in decimal places in animation priority uploads. I'm horseing around wiht it, and it seems to round down to a whole number. (A 3.75 upload will not override a priority 3 walk.

Any other animators been playing with this?

TGA file save non trans pic - 24 or 32bit?

Tuesday, December 5th, 2006
Hi there!

I have just made a couple of pictures for my friend to use in his real estate advertising in SL (the pics you see when you do a search for rentals etc).

I have made them both 512x512 but I'm not sure whether to save them as 24bit or 32bit tga files when I'm finished. I know with the transparent textures you use 32 but as there is no alpha layers on a normal pic would you just use 24?

I had a look in the SL templates to try work out the right sizes and the sizes are 512x512 @ 150 pixels per inch. Do I use these same sizes for just a normal pic (ie: not clothing)?

I didn't notice it until afterwards and the pics I have made are 512x512 @ 72 pixels per inch. Would it matter much?

Thanks for your help!

SC :)
